Hero Electric opens dealership in Kerala

Hero Electric has opened its third dealership in Malappuram, Kerala where it is displaying its entire product line-up. The dealership run by G & K Motors comprises of 2750 sq ft area along with a service area of 650 sq ft. With the opening of this facility, the dealership network in Southern India will be further strengthened, bringing the brand closer to achieving 1000 touchpoints across the country.

Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, “The new dealership with G&K Motors adds to our customer-centric approach and our constant efforts to get closer to them, setting new benchmarks for customer satisfaction in the region. We are essentially setting up a miniature EV ecosystem leadership and are excited to witness the future unfold, harbouring the collective dream to mobilize India’s billion EV dreams.”

Hero Electric currently operates in 25 states in India and aims to reach 1000 sales touchpoint marks by the end of FY2023. Like many other states, Kerala has introduced incentive programs to boost EV sales in response to the growing demand for electric two-wheelers. To promote faster adoption and manufacture of electric vehicles in the state, the state offers 50 percent off on road tax on electric vehicles for the first few years.
