Gulf Oil Lubricants India has launched new a two-wheeler battery range called Gulf Pride.

The company says the new Gulf Pride range offers superior cranking power. All Gulf Pride batteries are designed using advanced VRLA technology and come with gas recombinant with valve regulated design that does not let the electrolyte escape from the cells. This, it says, ensures that there is no need to top it up with distilled water, making it completely maintenance-free.

According to the company, the battery features advanced lead calcium alloy on the plates, which reduces corrosion significantly and provides it superior start-up efficiency. The battery comes with an ABS case that provides better heat and electrical insulation compared to normal or conventional battery containers.

Ravi Chawla, managing director, Gulf Oil, said: “The growing two- wheeler population in India combined with the large gap between demand and supply for quality batteries is what led us to launch the Gulf Pride batteries. These premium quality batteries combine superior cranking power with low maintenance and longer life to provide the riders with the power to insta-start their day.”
