At the Auto Expo, Goodyear has showcased some of its most iconic products that have shaped the history of tyre technology, define its present range and offer a glimpse into the technologies of the future.

The company’s ‘Challenging the Limits’ display includes two ground-breaking concept tyres unveiled for the first time in India that could radically transform the role of car tyres in the future.

The first concept – named BHO3 – offers the possibility of charging the batteries of electric cars by transforming the heat generated by the rolling tyre into electrical energy. The second concept – named Triple Tube – contains three tubes that adjust tyre inflation pressure in response to changing road conditions, delivering new levels of performance and versatility.

Goodyear has also displayed some of its breakthrough technologies across its century-old history of innovation. These include tyres used in the aviation industry, NASCAR and RunOnFlat tyres. Also on display were some of the most cutting-edge tyre technologies from Goodyear India’s current portfolio: Assurance TripleMax with superior wet braking, Wrangler ATSA offering durability and Efficientgrip for low noise and ride comfort.
