Former Hyundai Motor India president Avinash Gandhi joins Lumax

The appointment in effect from November 12, 2018 for a period of five years is subject to the approval of shareholders.

Automotive lighting solutions major Lumax Auto Technologies today announced that it has appointed former Hyundai Motor India president Avinash Parkash Gandhi as an independent director.

Gandhi a mechanical engineer by profession, has over 40 years of experience in the area of manufacturing and operations in the automobile Industry. He has held various senior positions in leading organisations.

In his last assignment, Gandhi was the President at Hyundai Motor India, prior to which he was the chief executive - R&D at Escorts Limited. Lumax Auto Technologies says the appointment is in effect from November 12, 2018 for a period of five years and is subject to the approval of shareholders.
