Ford Assured completes five years in India
The company, which has over 185 outlets, has achieved three-digit growth YoY with trade-ins more than doubling in 2015 over 2014 and constituting nearly 17% of Ford Assured’s overall sales.
Ford Assured, the used car arm of Ford in India, has completed five years of operations in the country.
According to the company, which has over 185 outlets, has achieved three-digit growth year on year thanks to its customer-focused approach. Trade-ins more than doubled in 2015 over 2014 and constitutes nearly 17% of Ford Assured’s overall sales.
Each Ford Assured car undergoes a 169-quality checkpoint test by certified engineers as also a thorough check of the car’s history and finance to prevent any possible fraud. It also follows a transparent mode to calculate the value of cars, by taking into consideration values of accessories and insurance, and also enables timely transfer of ownership documents to the buyer along with financial loans.

All Ford Assured cars are refurbished in state-of-the-art workshops of company authorised dealers and offered with flexible warranty options of 20,000km/1 year on Ford cars as well as select non-Ford vehicles. The venture also offers two free services by Ford-trained technicians. It also stays engaged and in touch with the customer through the entire lifecycle of their vehicle.
To support ramp up of the used car network, Ford is focused on ensuring easy availability of Ford genuine spare parts across the country and has appointed retailers to cover states like Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. The next phase of open market distribution of Ford Genuine parts is planned in West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
