Lubricant major ExxonMobil is actively driving its Udaan training programme across India. This initiative is aimed at educating and creating awareness about lubrication fundamentals and inventory management. It also provides safety training for ExxonMobil product retailers, Lube Change Centres (LCCs) owners, and mechanics across India.

Through its specially designed workshops, Udaan enables participants to understand the handling of critical workshop and vehicle maintenance situations. The training sessions educate customers on personal and workshop safety, best practices and the technology behind ExxonMobil’s range of passenger vehicle lubricants –Mobil 1, Mobil Delvac and Mobil Super. Udaan also provides training on safety measures for participating retailers and mechanics.

An Udaan bus ferries ExxonMobil’s specialised team of engineers, trainers and technicians across India to meet retailers and host workshops, which help train not only novices but even old-timers through a variety of modules that include video demonstrations, discussions and Q&A sessions. The company says these workshops help bring diverse dynamics of vehicle performance and maintenance, workshop safety and merchandising soft skills to the fore.

The Udaan initiative has already been showcased in Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal till date.
