Pune-based Patil Automation (PAPL), an automation solutions company, which forayed into the electric two-wheeler space in July under the ‘Evtric Motors’ brand has unveiled its new low-speed e-scooter targeted for the B2B segment at the EV Expo 2021 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The company says the e-scooter has considerable space with added carrier options that fit the requirements for the B2B segment. With a top-speed of 25kph, the company says the e-scooter ideal for the purpose of local deliveries. It is equipped with 12-inch tubeless tyres, and a loading capacity of 150kg. The EV can be charged in three and half hour and can cover a distance of over 110km on a single charge with two swappable lithium-ion battery options, thus avoiding a need of frequent charging.

Evtric Motors has started onboarding dealers and aims to have its presence in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi- NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal in fiscal 2021-22 as a part of its initial expansion plan.
