Euler Motors bags Flipkart, BigBasket order for 2,500 e-three-wheelers

Euler Motors is gearing up to launch its first electric three-wheeler cargo vehicle in the L5 category.

Euler Motors bags Flipkart, BigBasket order for 2,500 e-three-wheelers

New Delhi-based electric mobility start-up Euler Motors has announced that it has received orders from leading e-commerce players including BigBasket, Flipkart and Udaan among others for 2,500 electric three-wheelers for intra-city deliveries.

As part of the understanding, the companies will deploy Euler Motors’ EV across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai for first-, mid- and last-mile operations. The OEM says the EV deliveries are scheduled to take place in the next 6-8 months.

Euler Motors is aiming to launch its first three-wheeler L5 cargo vehicle around the festive season this year. At present, it has already deployed over 300 vehicles as part of a pre-launch pilot with e-commerce, FMCG companies for intra-city delivery in Delhi-NCR.

Euler Motors says it has already clocked over 10 million kilometres, which translates to 1,000 tonnes of saving in carbon emissions and 1 million litres of saved fuel.

We have seen a significant rise in operational efficiency and tangible savings as their electric vehicle offers a higher payload capacity when compared to any competing ICE vehicle.”

The start-up has already raised funds from ADB Ventures, Blume Ventures, Inventus Capital India, Jetty Ventures. It also manages a network of more than 100 charging infrastructure in Delhi NCR.
