Escorts unveils electric tractor concept and Global Tractor Series

Escorts Ltd today launched India’s first electric and hydrostatic concept tractor and an expanded global portfolio of tractors for the export and domestic market in the 22hp to 90hp range under flagship brands Farmtrac and Powertrac.

The tractors, which are compliant with Tier 4 emission norms of Europe and America include the flagship New Escorts Tractor Series (NETS) with higher horsepower (70 to 90hp), compact tractors (22 to 30hp), crossover tractors for both paddy and haulage applications, tractors with cabin options for driving comfort. These models, with Tier 4 emission norms compliant CRDi engines, aims to cater to customer demands from the United States, Europe, Latin America, Africa and ASEAN countries apart from new-generation farmers in India.
