E Mobility India Forum to kick off in Delhi from Sept 29 - 30

The E-mobility India Forum that kicks off from September 29-30 in Delhi will discuss roadmaps for the adoption and promotion of EVs in India. The two-day conference will bring together industry thought leaders to discuss strategies and initiatives for improving the penetration of EVs.

The depreciation of air quality, climate change and incremental rise in global temperature are some alarming concerns which demand a transition to electrically powered and emission-free vehicles. To develop an ecosystem for EVs, the Centre has already implemented policies and subsidies to encourage automobile brands to manufacture EVs locally. The mission is to have 30 percent of all passenger vehicles in India “electrified” by 2030.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt India, the conference will discuss topics concerning the adoption and promotion of e-mobility, and infrastructural requirements as well as highlight upcoming advancements in the EV sector.

“The transition to e-mobility is already ensuing and factors such as component localisation, charging infrastructure, standardised safety processes will fast-pace this shift and create new business models and opportunities across the automotive ecosystem,” said Raj Manek, executive director and board member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings.

Through E-Mobility India Forum, the organiser aims to bring stakeholders together to spark crucial discussions, refine strategies and outline the roadmap for the EV sector in India. Taking part at this forum will be
