ElectricPe, an EV charging platform has partnered with NoBroker, a property tech platform to set up 100,000 electric charging points in residential areas through this year.

The partners say India is expected to have over 5 million public charging stations across the country, with multiple players working to address range anxiety by enhancing the density of charging points. The alliance will see charging stations set up across NoBroker residential welfare societies (societies that have onboarded NoBrokerHood society app), including apartments, gated communities, and standalone buildings, making it convenient for consumers to access EV charging in their vicinity. EV owners will be able to scan and pay instantly or have the bill added to their electricity bill via the NoBrokerHood app. Residents will also be able to see available EV charging options within the ElectricPe app, book slots to charge EVs and pay as per usage. There will also be an option to request setting up charging stations in private parking lots after their RWA's approval.

Saurabh Garg, co-founder and CBO, NoBroker said, “The availability of charging points has been a major hurdle for vehicle owners to take the leap. We are excited to partner with ElectricPe to provide our customers easy access to charging points.”

Avinash Sharma, co-founder and CEO, ElectricPe said, “We are working towards ensuring a dense network of charging points across India to meet the Indian government’s bullish electric mobility vision.”
