EKA Mobility appoints Anil Baliga as President
Baliga will lead the EV company's expansion plans as well as handle the installation of a state-of-the-art flexible, productive, smart and lean manufacturing unit.
EKA Mobility, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries has announced the appointment of B Anil Baliga as president. Baliga, an industry veteran with a rich and extensive experience of 40+ years in the automotive industry will lead the electric vehicle company’s expansion, reporting to Founder & Chairman of EKA, Dr. Sudhir Mehta.
Baliga has earlier worked with Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) during whuhc he was responsible for setting up the truck facility, transfer of technology, and capacity expansion. He also spearheaded the bus manufacturing plant and led specific applications developed for commercial trucks in various segments at VECV. In a press note, the company said Baliga will closely work on installing a state-of-the-art flexible highly productive, smart & lean manufacturing unit, capable of manufacturing the complete range with a high level of relevant automation & IT integration leveraging Industry 4.0 and IoT.

B Anil Baliga graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. His insights include application development for commercial trucks in various segments, high-end customized buses and ambulances, technology development, business development, project, and asset management.
EKA Mobility recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), with goEgoNetwork, a charging infrastructure provider, to provide a robust, efficient, compliant, and well-connected EV charging infrastructure and advanced charging stations to its customers for public transportation.
