eBikeGo joins hands with Log9 Materials for upcoming e-bike Velocipedo

This partnership will see Log9's InstaCharge technology enable Velocipedo to be well-equipped and hence widely adopted for multiple applications.

eBikeGo, an electric two-wheeler mobility platform, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Log9 Materials, a Bengaluru-based advanced battery technology start-up, to the launch their 10-minute Superfast Charging Technology (InstaCharge technology) for their upcoming electric trike, Velocipedo.

This partnership will see Log9's InstaCharge technology enable Velocipedo to be well-equipped and hence widely adopted for multiple applications, including ride-hailing and personal mobility, as well as cargo transportation. Production is supposed to commence at the start of 2023.

Dr Irfan Khan, Founder and CEO, eBikeGo said,“This strategic partnership with Log9 Materials will also help us strengthen our expansion and enable us to scale across India and the world. Together, eBikeGo and Log9 Materials hope to push to transform the electric vehicle segment and logistics ecosystem of the nation towards a more responsible and sustainable model.”

Log9 Materials is also leveraging its core competencies in material sciences to develop improved energy storage solutions that range from electrode materials to pack level. Moreover, its Rapid Charging Battery Packs address adoption concerns for two- wheelers and three-wheeler EV platforms, while its Aluminum Fuel Cell technology is aimed at electrifying long-distance, heavier vehicles. Vehicle electrification, particularly those designed for commercial use, including 2W, 3W, LCVs, and HCVs, will not only have a positive environmental impact, but will also result in significant cost savings.
