As per the regulations, the participation was limited to 15 people per team per day, taking into account the current pandemic challenges and other the health concerns of all stakeholders involved. Use of masks, sanitization facilities, and maintenance of safe distance are taken into prime consideration.

S Ramanathan (Director ATS and Trontion E Automotive) who was the chief guest congratulated all the students for making eBAJA Buggy, which is going to run on extremely harsh terrain and in high temperatures. He declared all the teams as winners and reiterated SAEIndia’s support for running events to improve their knowledge on emerging technologies. He offered support on SIL / HIL platforms (IPG Carmaker) in collaboration with IPG Germany.

Sona Comstar’s Anand Seth, who was the guest of honour said, “With the way the world is moving towards EVs, if the current predicament was to keep eBaja as separate from mBaja or not, in the future the question will be whether mBaja should be kept separate or subsumed under eBAJA.”
