Power management company Eaton plans to showcase its varied product and technology portfolio for the commercial vehicle, off-highway and passenger car markets at Auto Expo 2014 (Hall 6, Stall No.6.16A) in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, next week.

“Eaton has established itself as a reliable technology partner amongst leading auto and commercial vehicle OEMs in India over the last seven years,” said Krishnakumar Srinivasan, MD, Vehicle Group India. “The Auto Expo has always been an excellent opportunity to understand and foresee new trends. At this year’s show, we will showcase our diverse capabilities to existing and potential customers with a focus on complimenting OEM efforts to build vehicles with higher efficiency, reliability and safety.”

Eaton’s display will include manual and automated medium duty and heavy duty transmissions, and clutches; its range of engine valves and valve actuation products, including hydraulic lash adjusters, followers, and rocker arms; torque control products and technologies for various on- and off-road and off-highway applications (like MLocker and NoSpin Differential); and superchargers. In India, Eaton is working with leading OEMs to demonstrate the supercharger’s technology benefits. The portfolio includes the TVS supercharger – Eaton’s highlight at Auto Expo 2014. It is capable of delivering high power and low-end torque while providing vehicle manufacturers with the option of using a smaller, more efficient engine with no loss in performance or drivability, while providing better fuel economy and reduced emissions.

The company will also display its fuel emission control valves which manage refueling dynamics for petrol, diesel and urea systems. Eaton’s rollover valve is a safety device that delays fuel leakages in the instance of a vehicle rollover, and can be incorporated into multiple tank interfaces including cam lock, hot plate welded ‘sandwich’ mount, grommet mount and internal fuel sender mount applications. The company says it is an ideal application for passenger cars and the two-wheeler segment.

Eaton also will also be displaying other product offerings including air-conditioning lines with patented FIT technology, engineering plastic components, and Hydraulic products.
