Eaton appoints KK Srinivasan president, Vehicle Group, APAC

Power management company Eaton has announced that Krishnakumar Srinivasan has been appointed president, Vehicle Group, Asia-Pacific, reporting to Ken Davis, president, Vehicle Group.

Power management company Eaton has announced that Krishnakumar Srinivasan has been appointed president, Vehicle Group, Asia-Pacific, reporting to Ken Davis, president, Vehicle Group.

Srinivasan, who will be based in Shanghai, most recently served as managing director in India for the Vehicle Group, where he was responsible for all truck, bus and automotive operations.

“Krishnakumar’s technical background combined with his focus on customers makes him the right person to lead our Asia-Pacific team and ensure that financial, productivity, technology and growth objectives are met in this vitally important region,” said Davis.

Commenting on the appointment, Krishnakumar said, “Asia-Pacific is a growth region for Eaton’s Vehicle business. My new role will hence focus on sustaining the growth momentum and exploring opportunities to further supercharge our efforts towards achieving Eaton’s overall goals in the region.”

Expressing confidence over India’s potential as a key contributor towards Eaton’s global growth strategy, Krishnakumar said, “The fundamentals in India are very strong. It is an important market for Eaton’s Vehicle business and we continue with our strong focus on customers, markets and investments to further our growth journey in the country.”

Prior to joining Eaton in 2009, Krishnakumar was president of Endress + Hauser Flowtec India and chief operating officer at INA Bearings India Krishnakumar earned a bachelor’s degree in in mechanical engineering from the Pune College of Engineering in Maharashtra, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pune.
