DTDC in expansion mode

DTDC, a logistics player is looking to scale up its infrastructure in order to meet the rising demand, particularly from the healthcare industry. Subhasish Chakraborty, Founder, CMD of DTDC said, " To further enhance our services and streamline operation to serve our customers better, we are building major logistic hubs across the country and expansion for greater business growth and delivering value to customers across length and breadth of the country”.
As per a company statement, the demand for doorstep delivery of medicines and vaccine soared up amidst the pandemic. In order to capture the rising demand, DTDC which claims to deliver over 12 million consignments monthly through its multi-modal transportation network is now looking to reach all the available pin-codes in the country.
The company to begin with opened a new state-of-art warehouse in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The company narrative is to partner with the e-commerce giants, channelizing their products across the categories through it. The plan is to replicate similar infrastructure setup in other parts of the country going forward.
The company’s customers include SMEs, e-retailers and large corporations that use its shipping tools, modern API and plug-in stacks.
