Deutz-Fahr launches all-new 3E tractor series in 35-42 hp segment for India

Tractor manufacturer Same Deutz Fahr launched its Deutz Fahr 3E tractor series to address demand in the 35-42 hp category in India.

According to the vice-chairman, Same Deutz Fahr, Francesco Carozza, “India is an integral part of the global growth of the Deutz Fahr brand, both in terms of it being a global manufacturing hub, and a growing market for our tractors. With the launch of the all new 3E tractor series, we mark a new beginning in providing our cutting edge technologies to a new mass segment of buyers. These tractors will enable a whole lot of Indian farmers to access this class of technology for the first time, thereby enabling them to have better productivity.”

Aurelio Noto, CEO and MD, SDF India, the Indian subsidiary, said: “We have been selling our tractors in the higher horsepower niche market in India since 2002. Now we are all set to make a paradigm shift by getting into the manufacture of 35-42 hp categories of tractors, especially designed for India. The tractors in this series come equipped with constant mesh gears and features that now are present only in tractors of higher ranges”.

With the launch of a lower horsepower tractor, the company will be able to offer cutting-edge technology to markets across the country, mainly dominated by demand for these types of machines. This will not only enable it to become a significant player in the Indian market in the years to come but help Indian farmers substantially improve their yields.
