Daimler India CV develops app for customers, dealers and suppliers
The app will tailor content according to the users’ profiles, ensuring that each reader sees news relevant to their needs.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the maker of BharatBenz trucks and buses, today unveiled the new DICV Bulletin, a communication platform for its dealers, customers and zuppliers.
The app, which was developed in-house by the company’s IT Team in under three months, offers users information tailored to their business needs at the touch of a button. This is particularly relevant in times of crisis and rapid change, as the app can seamlessly transfer critical information to stakeholders without delay.
According to Satyakam Arya, CEO and managing director, DICV, “The new DICV Bulletin lets us share up-to-the-minute information with our stakeholders in real time, improving communication and helping us become even more customer-focused.”
The app will tailor content according to the users’ profiles, ensuring that each reader sees news relevant to their needs. The company plans to post a variety of information including surveys and polls that will offer stakeholders the chance to quickly give feedback to their business partners in DICV.
“Digitalisation is the number one way for businesses to improve efficiency. The DICV Bulletin app is a prime example of how an online platform can be used to bring stakeholders information tailored to their needs, whenever and wherever they need it,” commented Chulanga Perera, CIO of DICV.
By giving stakeholders direct access to multimedia information on products, services and business updates, DICV hopes to further enhance their customer-centricity and reinforce their win-win relationship with Dealers and Suppliers.
The app will be available for dealers, suppliers and select customers on the Google Play and App store.
