Covid-19 impact: Okinawa halts manufacturing operations

In sync with steps taken by automobile manufacturers across India, Okinawa has put all its manufacturing operations on hold until further notice as safety measure to tide over the Covid-19 breakout.

The duration of this shut down will depend upon the government policy.

Okinawa had already initiated work from home for their office-based workforce to maintain business continuity and their safety. All workers in the manufacturing unit will be on paid leave.
