Bosch Automotive Aftermarket opens largest Bosch Car Service facility in Panchkula

The new workshop operates with a manpower capacity of 28 people and with a capacity to service more than 45 cars in a day.

Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, a vehicle maintenance service provider has inaugurated one of the largest Bosch Car Service (BCS) facilities in Panchkula as part of its network expansion drive. The workshop was inaugurated by Anjan Kumar, regional president – Automotive Aftermarket, Bosch India.

The multi-brand car service concept from Bosch, has a global presence spanning 100 years and at present has about 250 service touchpoints across India. The company has partnered with Speed Links, this multi-brand service concept joins the world’s largest workshop network with a global footprint of more than 15,000 workshops across 150 countries.

Bosch Automotive Aftermarket says the workshops address the need created by increasing customer demands for quality service and genuine parts for mass brands and premium segment cars, technologically advanced products, growing pre-owned car sales and the number of cars running on Indian roads out of the OE warranty. Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Division, after adding 100 workshops to its network, plans to expand its network count by targeting significant growth in 2021 and beyond.

Speaking at the inauguration, Anjan Kumar said, “We welcome Sunil Goyal and his energetic team to our growing family of Bosch Car Service and take pleasure in inaugurating this world-class facility which brings us closer to the car owners in the Tri-City. Bosch Car Service is well-positioned as the best alternative to the car workshops in India by offering customers a superlative experience of car service. With diagnostics and high-end workshop efficiency tools, we are certain that the customers would be overwhelmed with a superior customer experience in this facility.”

The new Bosch Car Service outlet will cater to the requirements of customers in the adjoining cities of Chandigarh and Mohali in the Tri-City. The workshop facility sprawls across an area of approximately 36,000 sqft with about 40 bays for multi-brand car service. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and the latest Bosch diagnostic equipment such as the KTS (ECU diagnostic scanner with ESI software for vehicle diagnosis), the workshop operates with a manpower capacity of 28 people and with a capacity to service more than 45 cars in a day.

The workshop will offer a range of services including periodic maintenance, ECU diagnostics, brake service, clutch overhaul, suspension system, AC diagnostics and service, aggregate repairs, body repairs and painting, wheel balancing, tyre service, car wash and car detailing. These services along with value-adds such as road-side assistance, pick, and drop services, cashless insurance repair in a body shop and renewal of insurance, annual service maintenance plan, offer vehicle owners a one-stop-shop for their vehicle needs.
