For Bharat Gears Ltd (BGL), located at Hall No. 6/Stand No. 6.33 at the Components Show in Pragati Maidan, the 12th Auto Expo is an opportunity to showcase its new product line.
“BGL is exhibiting its recent upgradation in technology at its manufacturing units, besides new products developed for the aftermarket in the last two years to the domestic and overseas buyers,” says Surinder P Kanwar, chairman and managing director.
The component supplier does not expect an instant response in terms of business orders or on-the- spot sales and is viewing the Expo more as a beginning for taking essential steps in an extended process of developing a new lot of prospective customers.
Bharat Gears is displaying some of its recently developed products like differential cases and spider kits and transmission gears for Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and Jeep. Other components on display include steering components and axles, propeller shafts, and clutch displays like conventional diaphragms, child parts, pressure plates, spring kits, lever kits and clutch buttons.
