Bharat Forge bags GM’s 2016 Supplier of the Year award
Bharat Forge is the sole Indian component supplier and one of 118 top global suppliers from 15 countries recognised by GM for their products and services in 2016.
The Pune-based Bharat Forge has won yet another global supplier accolade. On March 31, at its 25th annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida, General Motors recognised 118 of its best global suppliers from 15 countries that have consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, created outstanding value or brought new innovations to the company.
This number represents the most suppliers GM has recognised since the automaker instituted the Supplier of the Year awards in 1992. This is the first time that Bharat Forge has received the award and is the sole award-winning Indian supplier this year.
