Benara Udyog expands its product portfolio

The Agra-based Benara Udyog, which manufactures engine bearings and bi-metal bushes, has launched disc brake pads in the domestic market.

The Agra-based Benara Udyog, which manufactures engine bearings and bi-metal bushes, has launched disc brake pads and brake shoes for light commercial vehicles, passenger cars, two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

The company, which has two manufacturing plants, recently showcased its varied product portfolio at the Auto Expo 2016 Components Show in New Delhi.

Its product range comprises bushes (connected rod bushings, kingpin bushings, cam bushings, valve rocker bushings, bel crank bushings, front spindle bushings, centre pin bushings, idler gear bushings and steering bushings), bearings (main bearings, connected rod bearings, and air compressor bearings) and brake disc pads. 

Benara Udyog, which has a technical collaboration with NTE South Korea, has been supplying its products to leading vehicle manufacturers in India and abroad since the past 25 years. It currently supplies engine bearings and bushes to Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Volvo Eicher, Pithampur, International Tractors, VST Tractors, Greaves Cotton, TAFE Motors & Tractors, Mahindra & Mahindra (Farm Tractors) & Mahindra Trucks & Buses.

The company has a manufacturing capacity of 2.2 million bearings and 1.2 million bushes a month at Plant 1 and currently produces 1.2 million bushes a month from Plant 1 and 1.2 million bushes from Plant 2. Total bushes manufacturing capacity is 3 million units a month.
