In order to rekindle some excitement for their top selling premium motorcycles in the on-going festive season, Bajaj Auto and Yamaha Motors India have launched new colour variants of the Pulsar RS200, and fuel injected versions of the FZ-S and Fazer.

Bajaj today unveiled a new ‘Demon Black’ colour variant for the RS200, at prices starting from Rs.120,000 (non ABS) and Rs 132,001 (ABS) ex showroom Delhi. Meanwhile, Yamaha introduced four new colors for FZ-S Fuel Injector version and three new colors for FAZER Fuel Injector version, priced at Rs 82,159 and Rs 87,305 respectively.

Commenting on the launch Eric Vas, president-motorcycle business at Bajaj Auto said: “The Pulsar RS 200 has received an overwhelming response across the country and has achieved leadership in its segment in a short span of 4 months. The new Demon black edition is a beautiful bike which is combined with its racing genes and will certainly appeal to biking enthusiasts.”

Bajaj has sold more than 15,000 Pulsar RS200 motorcycles between Apr1-Aug31 and the company continues to see strong demand for the motorcycle. The new black colour option is reminiscent of the ‘Fear the Black’ variant of the popular Pulsar 180 model some years back.

The FZ-S and the Fazer, have an entirely new set of graphics along with new colour options and with this Yamaha hopes to create ‘more excitement’ for prospective customers.

According to Roy Kurian, vice president–sales and marketing, Yamaha Motor India: “Since its launch, both the products have gained immense popularity amongst customers, especially youngsters. The core concept of FZ-S Fuel Injector version and FAZER Fuel Injector version remains the same, with these new colors we strive to continuously interact and excite our target customers.”
