Bajaj Auto revs up for festive season with refreshed Pulsar NS and RS series
New Pulsar RS 200 with Dual Channel ABS priced at Rs 152,179, Pulsar NS 200 costs Rs 131,219 and Pulsar NS 160 at Rs. 1,08,589 (ex-showroom-New Delhi).
Bajaj Auto, which has sold a total of 219,500 motorcycles in the domestic market in September 2020 (23.77%) and 736,175 units in the April-September 2020 period (-35%) and has a 18% market share, is revving up for sales in the festive season.
The Pune-based OEM has given the Pulsar NS and RS series a brand-new contemporary colour and graphic scheme. According to the company, “inspired by trendy ‘colour blocking’ design language, the colours accentuate the agility and sportiness of the bikes.” Available in fresh colours like Burnt Red (Matte finish) and Plasma Blue (Satin Finish), the new look is rounded off with white alloy wheels. Front and rear fenders are now carbon fibre textured, with a hot stamping pattern on the seats.
The new Pulsar RS 200, which develops 24.15hp from its four-valve triple spark, fuel-injected DTS-I engine, is as before equipped with 300mm front disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. The new Pulsar RS200 will be available in three colour schemes: Burnt Red (Matte Finish), Metallic Pearl White and Pewter Grey. The Pulsar RS 200 with Dual Channel ABS is priced at Rs 152,179.
The Pulsar NS 160, which puts out 16.95hp, comes mated to a class-leading perimeter frame. This model is known for its free revving performance that has garnered it a massive fan following among young motorcycle enthusiasts.
The Pulsar NS 200 and NS 160, which get new all-white alloy wheels, will be available in four new colour schemes: Burnt Red (Matte Finish), Metallic Pearl White, Pewter Grey & Plasma Satin Blue. While the Pulsar NS 200 costs Rs 131,219, the Pulsar NS 160 is priced at Rs 108,589 (ex-showroom-New Delhi).

The new Pulsar RS and NS series will go on sale at Bajaj dealerships from October 23.
