Bajaj Auto domestic September sales rise 24 percent
Bajaj Auto's focus now remains on new products and variants under Bajaj, KLM and Husqvarna brands.
Two-wheeler major, Bajaj Auto has clocked an impressive 24 percent growth in domestic two-wheeler sales in September 2020 at 219,500 vehicles compared to 177,348 units last September, 2019.
The domestic sales are recognised at the time of dispatch from the point of sale to dealerships. After the downturn spanning over six quarters, volumed have been improving sequentially since May 2020. Bajaj Auto's focus now remains on new products and variants under Bajaj, KTM and Husqvarna brands.
Bajaj Auto's exports too saw a brisk 16 percent rise in September compared to September last year.
Industry watchers expect the domestic two-wheeler category wholesales improving further due to festive demand leading to higher production levels.
