Pune-based two- and three-wheeler major Bajaj Auto today appointed Soumen Ray as the joint president (finance), who will report to Kevin D’Sa, president (Finance).
Ray will work closely with D’Sa and is expected to succeed as the president (Finance) after D’sa’s retirement. He will also be a part of Bajaj Auto’s senior leadership team.
Ray is a chartered accountant with over 20 years of experience. In his previous role, he was associated with Viacom 18 Media where he was the chief finance and strategy officer. In his career journey, he also worked with Hindustan Unilever, ITC and Eveready Industries.
