Avan Motors showcases concept electric scooters

Pune-based electric two-wheeler maker Avan Motors unveiled two new concept e-vehicles at the Pune Motor Show 2019 on September 20, 2019. The company says the vehicles were showcased to assess the mass-response to the concepts and move to the production phase based on further research.
In terms of specification, the company says the first concept e-vehicle will be powered by a 72V/22Ah lithium-Ion battery, with a range of 80-200km per charge. The e-scooter will be powered by a 1200W motor, have a maximum speed of 60kph, and will be fitted with 90/90-10 tyres.
The second variant will be equipped with a 60V/35Ah lithium-ion battery, with a range of 50-80km per charge and will have a top speed of 45kph. Its 90/80-12 3.00-10 tyres will be fuelled by an 800 W motor. Both models will come with disc brakes in the front, while in the rear, the company will offer drum brakes.
