Avan Motors India unveils Trend E electric scooter

Trend E can travel 60km with a single battery that can be extended to 110km with a second battery, and has a top speed of 40kph.

Pune-based electric two-wheeler start-up Avan Motors India today unveiled its new electric scooter christened Trend E, at the Automobile Expo 2019 in Bangalore.

This it says is its latest addition to Avan Motors India’s Xero series of electric scooters, the Trend E scooter is powered by a lithium-ion battery and boasts a top speed of 45kph and has a range of 60km with single battery and 110km with double battery. The company claims a full battery charge will take between two to four hours.

The Trend E is equipped with a hydraulic telescopic front suspension and a coil spring rear suspension. The scooter features alloy wheels, with disc and drum brakes on the front and rear wheels, respectively, and can take a max load of 150kg

Pankaj Tiwari, business development head, Avan Motors, said: “With the Trend E, the latest electric scooter in the Xero series. With Higher ground clearance, lithium-ion detachable battery pack. Moreover, our e-scooters are being regarded across the industry for their combination of aesthetic and technological brilliance, and we are confident that the customers too will appreciate all that the Trend E has to offer.”
