The upcoming Automotive Engineering Show 2014 (May 29-31: Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre, Pune), which will focus on technologies for automotive manufacturing, will see a good number of leading brands exhibiting their products and services.

The eighth edition of the event is being organised by Messe Frankfurt India Trade Fair Pvt Ltd, the Indian arm of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, which announced its acquisition of the Automotive Engineering Show in March this year.

The trade fair will see over 100 companies including sensor maker SICK India, Faro, Henkel, Bettinelli Automation Components, IFM Electronic GmbH display innovative and market-ready automation solutions for auto component manufacturers, OEMs and Tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers.

AES 2014 will see the launch of Axxon’s fast-charging carbon battery, a first-of-its-kind product in India for solar power applications; Micromeasures Metrelogy’s EYP model pulse wrench that achieves the highest torque accuracy for industrial fastening applications; and Altea Srl’s dry-lube equipment and consumables, an Italian patented technology. Meanwhile, HumiSeal, which manufactures conformal coatings, will launch its new UV50 and UV500 products.

A one-day seminar, which is also scheduled to be held concurrently with the AES show, will see industry leaders come together to discuss strategies and best practices on automation in manufacturing. Siemens PLM India will host a session on energy savings with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation Solution and FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH will have an exclusive presentation on the automotive sector in the German Metropolitan Region FrankfurtRheinMain where 200 Indian companies manage their European operations.

Since its debut, the Automotive Engineering Show has maintained its focus on automotive plant processes and technologies. The 2013 edition attracted 120 participants and more than 5,600 industry visitors from OEMs as well as Tier 1 to Tier 3 suppliers.
