Automobile Olympiad opens for registration on June 10

First stage results to be announced in October, and ASDC will announce the winners next January.

The Automobile Olympiad, a national-level exam administered by the Automotive Skills Development Council ASDC to create an awareness about the automotive industry will open for registrations on June 10 and go on to 31 July.

This time around, the ASDC has partnered with the National Program on Career Awareness (NPOCA) to conduct the competition which is being held online. It is aimed at students in grades 7 to 12. The first stage results will be announced in October, and ASDC will announce the winners next January.

Arindam Lahiri, CEO, ASDC, said, "We have pioneered various projects to upskill and competitively position the industry. We are always grateful to have such outstanding programmes and strive to upskill and reskill the next generation for a career in the automotive sector, also believe that such programmes will play a major role in the expansion of industry and employment.”
