Autocar Professional to host ‘CV Conference’ tomorrow

The commercial vehicle (CV) industry, also referred to as the ‘barometer of the economy’, is crucial for building a country and its economy. As the Covid cases recede, all segments of the automobile industry are set to drive again on the growth highway. As this key segment of auto industry emerges from a highly challenging period and progresses towards new growth, Autocar Professional will host the virtual CV Conference (10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m) on July 29, where industry leaders representing OEMs, Tier 1s, and finance sector will discuss, deliberate all key subjects pertaining to the industry. 

The CV Conference will have its keynote address delivered by global and Indian industry veteran and director, Volta Trucks, Dr. Seshu Bhagavathula. It will be followed by a panel discussion each on ‘Drivers of Growth’, and ‘Changing Dynamics and New Innovations. Speakers in the discussions will be Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO, VECV, Diego Graffi, CMD, Piaggio Vehicles, Anuj Kathuria, COO – M&HCV, Ashok Leyland, Ramesh Iyer, VC & MD, Mahindra Finance, Nishant Arya, VC & MD, JBM Group, Aniruddha Kulkarni, VP & head – CV engineering, Tata Motors, Sanjeev Saxena, President – automotive technologies, Schaeffler India. There will also be a technical presentation in between the panel discussions.   

The Indian commercial industry, ranked seventh globally in 2019, has been witnessing a lot of changes in terms of regulations, upgradation, new technologies as well as the emergence of new segments.
