The first day of public viewing at the Auto Expo motor show at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida saw an overwhelming response with over 60,000 visitors registering to enter the venue. The day saw over 35,000 tickets being sold as visitors checked out the large number of vehicles – both cars and two-wheelers and even commercial vehicles – showcased at the venue, which is a good 40km from Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Along with the many vehicle concepts on show, showgoers have shown avid interest in undertaking test drives of electric and hybrid vehicles at the Electric Mobility Pavilion, experiencing safe riding programmes at the stalls of some of the two-wheeler OEMs and also educating themselves on safe motoring techniques and practices. The vintage car pavilion too is proving to be a big draw.
