Auto Ancillary Show 2014 in Pune set to be a big draw

It’s time for this year’s edition of the Auto Ancillary Show, which is just about a month away. To be held at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Complex, PCMC, Pune from October 10-13, it is organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), Automotive Component Manufacturers’ Association of India (ACMA) and the Auto Cluster Development & Research Institute, Pune. Autocar Professional is the knowledge and media partner for the event.

The three-day show is supported by the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Micro, Small &Medium Enterprises, government of India. A key highlight of this year’s event is a conference on two key subjects of increasing importance for the auto industry – Lightweighting and New Age Materials.

Both seminars will have a galaxy of top-notch speakers from industry. These include Dr Raman Chaudhari from Fraunhofer ICT, Germany; Dr A K Sharma, director, ATIRA, Gujarat; V Kannan, vice-president, Reliance Industries, Nachiket Thakur, general manager (R&D), A Raymond Fasteners India; and  Prashant Trivedi, senior general manager, (OE and Technical Services), Sintex Industries, among others.
