Ashok Leyland launches ultra-low floor CNG buses, delivers 10 to Indigo airlines
Twelve-metre-long eco-friendly buses to operate at Delhi Airport.
Ashok Leyland has delivered 10 units of 12-metre ultra-low floor BS VI CNG buses to IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation) for operation at New Delhi airport. Ashok Leyland says it is the argest supplier of specialised tarmac buses to IndiGo.
These CNG tarmac coaches come equipped with iGen6 BS VI technology with the company’s 216 hp ‘H’ Series CNG engine that help deliver improved safety, comfort, and lower total cost of ownership.
Commenting on the deliveries, Sanjeev Kumar, Head – M&HCV, Ashok Leyland, said, “IndiGo has been our long-term valued customer.
