Ashok Leyland clocks 31 percent growth in November LCV sales
The growth in the LCV segment comes after the recent launch of Bada Dost.
Chennai-based commercial vehicle major, Ashok Leyland's November sales are up 4 percent year on year at 9,727 units (November 2019 sales: 9,377 units). But the LCVs were the star performer, up 31 percent year on year at 5,305 units sold. The growth in the LCV segment comes after the recent launch of Bada Dost.
The domestic sales for the company comprised 4,238 M&HCV trucks (+23 percent YoY) and 184 buses (-90 percent YoY). Also, the total sales including the exports in November increased by 5 percent, at 10,659 units sold (November 2019: 10,175 units).
With a series of launches including the AVTR, Bada Dost and the new Boss LE and LX, the company is expected to maintain teh sales momentum in the coming months.
