Ashok Leyland begins BS VI truck deliveries in Delhi-NCR

Ashok Leyland says its BS VI range of trucks and buses come with many innovations to suit Indian conditions.

Ashok Leyland has begun delivery of the first batch of BS VI trucks to its customers, ahead of the April 1 deadline. These trucks were delivered in Delhi-NCR region. Ashok Leyland says it has focussed on developing solutions which are relevant to the Indian conditions and customers.

The OEM says it has consistently relied on in-house R&D talent and indigenous technology for leading innovations in the CV industry. The company developed an innovative 'iGen6' technology for meeting the BS VI emission standards and this will ensure higher operating profits for customers.
