Arvind Saxena, currently managing director at Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, is tipped to be moving to General Motors India as the new CEO, replacing Lowell Paddock who is taking up a new assignment in Singapore.
This follows weeks of speculation that Saxena was headed to Nissan Motor India.
Saxena, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, moved to Hyundai Motor India in 2006 where he headed the sales and marketing functions. He joined Hyundai after a long stint at Maruti. His last assignment was with Volkswagen India which he joined in August 2012 to take charge of the Volkswagen brand's operations in India.
