Andhra Pradesh invites India Auto Inc to set up robust manufacturing eco-system in the state

State government offers full support to the automobile and components industry through pro-active administration, stable policy and capable human resource.

On the second day of the Auto Expo 2020 Components show at Pragati Maidan, Goutham Reddy, Minister for Industries & Commerce and Information Technology Government of Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion.

At the inauguration Reddy said, “I would want to congratulate ACMA, CII and SIAM for organising such an extravagant show of international repute. The government of Andhra Pradesh would like to extend the support to ACMA, CII and SIAM in the years to come. We also invite the component industry to put more ancillary units and become a partner in the development of the state. We would extend all support to develop a vibrant automotive value chain ecosystem in the State.”

The government of Andhra Pradesh has offered full support to the automobile, auto components and EV ecosystem in the state through pro-active administration, stable policy and capable human resource. 

Following the success of Kia Motors India, which set up a 300,000 units per annum manufacturing plant at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, and also developed an eco-system of component suppliers in the vicinity, the state government is enthused about the prospect of drawing new investment from the automotive industry, both Indian and global players.
