Altigreen, an EV technology and last-mile transportation company 's three-wheeler cargo vehicle, neEV completed a 150+ kms intercity run between Mysore and Bengaluru in a single charge, with a load of 150 kg. The distance was covered in six hours
Dr Amitabh Saran, Founder & CEO, Altigreen said, "Range anxiety is one of the biggest concerns for electric vehicle owners and potential buyers. This is a bigger challenge for small-format vehicles that deliver essential goods and perishables. Frequent charging is out of the question since EV charging infrastructure is still at a nascent stage in our country. Essentially, we need holistic solutions, not tomorrow but today. Therefore, we designed the vehicle around a larger Li-ion battery pack (11 kWh V/s Market Competition at 8 kWh) and used our technology leadership to ensure highest Regeneration of energy and thus, maximum mileage.”
Debashis Mitra, Director - Sales, Service and Marketing said, "Altigreen is poised to build a country-wide network and will bring innovative products in the coming months, which will continue the class-leading journey of neEV in both the cargo and passenger categories"
