The Brazilian aftermarket’s turnover stood at US$ 28.8 billion (Rs 181,929 crore) in 2018, while the overall component industry recorded US$ 36 billion (Rs 227,412 crore) in turnover.
Commenting on ACMA’s debut at Automec Brazil, Ram Venkataramani, president, ACMA said, “We are delighted to be a part of Automec Brazil. The Brazilian automotive aftermarket has seen strong double-digit growth in the recent years. With consumption of India-like products, the market holds significant opportunities for the Indian auto component industry.”
