3M opens its new car care store in Ahmedabad, marking its 100th in India

3M Car Care, a unit of the Automotive Aftermarkets Division of 3M India, has opened its third store in Ahmedabad, taking its India presence to a total of 100 touch-points.

The new store is spread across 1,500 sqft will offer a wide range of car detailing and other services. 3M claims it has a market share of around 50 percent in the car care segment, through its centres spread across 32 cities, with a growth of 40 percent YoY. 

Commenting at the store opening, Debarati Sen, MD, 3M India Region said, "The occasion of the launch of our 100th store is indeed a proud moment and a significant milestone for our Automotive Aftermarkets Division in India. In the past 6 years, 3M Car Care Centres have serviced over 3 lakh cars across tier 1 and tier 2 cities. " 

The Car Care centre will offer customers with – car exterior paint refinement, interior cleaning, anti-germ treatment, paint protection films, car anti-corrosion treatments, full car wraps and decals, NoMAD car mats, car wash, and DIY range of products.
