Among the sectors enjoying strong demand is the commercial vehicle industry, which is also seen as the barometer of the economy. Given the sales numbers in the domestic market for the past year, the Indian commercial vehicle industry is firmly driving on growth road.

Mahindra Truck & Bus, India's leading full-range commercial vehicle manufacturer, is playing a big role in the transition of the domestic commercial vehicle industry. The company has a robust and expansive product portfolio that addresses every segment – from 3.5-tonne GVW to 49-tonne GVW.

Mahindra's Heavy Commercial Vehicle range has been engineered for Indian requirements with the underlying philosophy of ‘Made in India, Made for India'. Mahindra Truck & Bus has a strong position in this segment and currently has over 40,000 HCV trucks plying on Indian roads.

In addition to offering a range of superior products, Mahindra Truck & Bus is also ensuring full-fledged aftersales support, which is critical to truck owners and fleet operators. The company's latest offering – the Blazo X – comes with the unique assurance of 'Get more mileage or Give the truck back'.

The new Blazo X benefits from improved efficiencies in the vehicle’s air management system, rolling characteristics and the vehicle’s rotating parts among others. The new Blazo X will be available in all platforms – haulage, tractor-trailer and tipper – and is equipped with the Blazo’s FuelSmart technology. The company says the new Blazo X offers an additional 5 percent mileage over its predecessor, thereby adding to the Blazo’s proposition of best value-for-money brand, mileage superiority and low cost of ownership.

The Blazo X also benefits from the new axle load norms as the modern truck comes with higher power-to-weight ratio and better aggregates that help transport additional loads with ease. Mahindra Truck & Bus offers a 6-year or 600,000km Transferable Warranty, which is an industry first and a very cost-effective AMC, lowest cost of ownership and a powerful insurance package – MCOVER.

Providing strong support to the Mahindra truck operator is India’s first multi-lingual 24s7 helpline – NOW –manned by technical experts to provide instant support to customers and drivers. The NOW mobile service vans and mobile workshops further add to the reach and agility of the company’s support network. This is in addition to its aftersales service and spares network which now includes 93-plus 3S dealerships, 149 authorised service centres, 32 M-Parts Plazas, 2,900 roadside assistance points and a 2,000-strong spares network on important trucking routes.

All-round and 24x7 support is what Mahindra Truck & Bus assures the customer. On the Delhi-Mumbai Corridor, the company offers a two-hour breakdown assistance guarantee. In the case of spare parts, it offers a guarantee that if the parts plaza or the dealer don’t have certain fast-moving maintenance parts in stock, Mahindra will provide them free to the customer. This guarantee is available at more than 100 locations in India.

Every truck buyer or user seeks high uptime, low maintenance cost, quicker turnaround time and a comfortable cabin. The new Mahindra Blazo X range not only meets these requirements but exceeds expectations.

Mahindra Truck & Bus, in fact, guarantees that a customer’s vehicle will be out of the workshop (except in accident cases) within 36 hours or the company will pay a penalty of Rs 3,000 per day. Proof enough of the company’s strong belief in its trucks.
