The new visualisation tool enables enterprises to design, test, and deploy applications directly from a web browser.
Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, announced the launch of FactoryTalk Optix in Pune. FactoryTalk Optix is a modern, cloud-enabled human-machine interface (HMI) platform that allows users to design, test and deploy applications directly from a web browser anywhere, anytime.
Industrial organisations can transform their automation design capabilities with a more simplified, productive way to work. It allows users to access machines, controllers, or HMI from anywhere using industry standards for cybersecurity. Remote access is an enabler for on-demand remote assistance, installation, programming, updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance of remote systems and applications.
Speaking on the launch of FactoryTalk Optix, Ankur Pancholi, business head, Software and Control, Rockwell Automation India, said, “We are excited to launch FactoryTalk Optix in Pune. I am confident our customers are going to hugely benefit from the visualisation options inbuilt into the product, which are faster to create and easier to maintain. It will enable enterprises in their smart manufacturing endeavour by achieving operational efficiency and optimum production.”
FactoryTalk Optix provides various options wherein one can design and test projects in a modern object-oriented programming environment. It helps in reducing design time and cost with multi-user collaboration; simplify standardisation through libraries of reusable content, custom templates, and style sheets. The product offers flexibility in development and deployment and helps reducing risk through cloud-based storage with version control and driving standardisation by providing various graphic options.
