Renault India and BLS E-Services join forces to expand mobility in rural areas

Renault India and BLS E-Services have entered a partnership to enhance mobility solutions in rural India. The recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the European carmaker and BLS E-Services, a subsidiary of BLS International, marks a significant milestone in the efforts to expand the reach and accessibility of Renault's new 2024 range of vehicles, including the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger, across rural markets.

The partnership is designed to bridge the gap in automotive accessibility in rural and semi-urban regions of the country. By leveraging BLS E-Services' extensive network of approximately 100,000 touchpoints, including B2C outlets, Common Service Centers (CSPs), Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), and 1,016 digital stores, Renault aims to enhance awareness and facilitate sales of its vehicles in these underserved areas.

Customers in rural India opting to purchase Renault vehicles through BLS E-Services will benefit from a seamless booking experience, access to finance options, and hassle-free test drive facilities. This initiative underscores Renault's commitment to catering to the unique preferences and needs of customers in rural markets while expanding its presence across the country.

Sudhir Malhotra, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Renault India Private Limited (RIPL), speaking on the partnership said “Rural India holds great potential for us, and through our collaboration with BLS E-Services, we aspire to deepen our presence in these markets by introducing our made-in-India, made for the world cars that are designed to cater the unique preferences of our customers. Leveraging the digital and on-site strengths of BLS, we have the assurance of presenting Renault's automotive technology to newer and diverse customer segments.”

With a focus on accessibility, affordability, and customer experience, this collaboration aims to create a positive impact on the automotive landscape in rural India.
