Jitendra EV unveils India’s first transparent electric scooter
The company intends to introduce the Primo S with a 90 km range and the Primo Plus with an extended 130 km range in the upcoming year.
Nashik-based electric vehicle manufacturer Jitendra EV on Wednesday announced the launch of what it claims to be the country’s first see-through e-scooter model, PRIMO, priced at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom).
While the transparent PRIMO model remains the highlight of the category, the electric vehicle maker has also manufactured models in colours like black, silver, red, and white for riders with distinct preferences.
Fueled by a 60V, 26Ah battery pack, the PRIMO comes with a range of 65 km on a single charge and a top speed of 52 kmph. The PRIMO comes equipped with features like telescopic forks, hydraulic forks with a spring coil, and a 7-degree gradient ability , the company stated in a media statement.
Speaking on the launch, Co-Founder Samkit Shah said, “At Jitendra EV, we aim to make the PRIMO transport model accessible to all sorts of riders who have a desire to purchase it, and not just a select few. With this goal in mind, we designed the e-scooter model that is high on design and innovation and yet easy on the pocket."
"Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to successfully launch the transparent electric vehicle, and after countless trials and errors, we are on the cusp of making the transparent scooter ready for mass production. The PRIMO is our way of letting riders dive into the future of electric mobility," he added.
