Zelio E Mobility Extends 2-Year Warranty to All Electric Vehicles

Zelio E Mobility has announced a comprehensive 2-year warranty across its entire electric vehicle product line, applicable on all purchases made from April 1, 2025. The warranty covers critical components including the motor, controller, and chassis for all two-wheeler models and the chassis for its three-wheeler e-rickshaw segment.

The warranty applies to Zelio's popular scooter models—X-Men, Gracy, Eeva, and Mystery—as well as its three-wheeler e-rickshaws, the Tanga Butterfly and Tanga SS models. Notably, the warranty has no restrictions on kilometers driven and is fully transferable if the vehicle changes ownership during the coverage period.

"At Zelio, customer satisfaction doesn't end with the sale—it begins there," said Kunal Arya, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Zelio E Mobility Ltd. He emphasized that the warranty reflects the company's confidence in its engineering and aims to set a new benchmark for after-sales service in the industry.

The company has implemented a paperless warranty claim process where customers need only send rejected parts to receive replacements within three working days. All warranty services can be accessed at any of Zelio's 400-plus authorized dealerships and service centers across India.

Zelio E Mobility, founded in 2021, is a fully Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturing company that has grown to serve more than 200,000 riders nationwide. The company currently operates through over 100 dealers and plans to expand its network to 1,000 dealerships by the end of 2025.

The EV sector in India has seen significant growth in recent years, with government incentives boosting adoption rates. However, warranty concerns have remained a barrier for many potential buyers. Zelio's move addresses this hesitation directly, potentially influencing industry standards as electric mobility continues to gain traction in the Indian market.
