Mahindra Truck & Bus Launches Blazo i-TRK Range

Mahindra Truck and Bus, part of the Mahindra Group, on Thursday unveiled its new BLAZO i-TRK range of heavy commercial vehicles, which it claims will give 10% higher mileage and a 48-hour uptime guarantee backed by an assurance of Rs 10,000 per day.

The new range is built around the company's “Profit Ka Rocket” approach, focused on helping truck owners run more, earn more and have greater control over their operations, Mahindra Truck and Bus said in a statement.

mPOWER 320hp Engine and 48-Hour Uptime Guarantee

The BLAZO i-TRK is powered by Mahindra's next-generation 320 horsepower mPOWER engine and the company's iMAXX 2.0 connected vehicle platform. The company said the combination is aimed at improving fuel efficiency, productivity and vehicle uptime.

The 48-hour uptime guarantee is an industry-first, according to the company, and comes with an assurance of Rs 10,000 per day, subject to terms and conditions.

Mahindra said the new range combines engineering, connected technology and what it described as a reliable ownership experience to help customers maximise earnings and control of their operations.

The company said iMAXX 2.0 is an advanced fleet telematics solution, which forms a key part of the new truck range.

The launch marks Mahindra Truck and Bus' latest push in the heavy commercial vehicle segment, with the company positioning the BLAZO i-TRK around fuel efficiency and operating uptime.

The company said the range is designed to support efficient and competitive freight movement in India.

“Profit Ka Rocket” is centred on three objectives - “Earn More, Run More and Control More” - with the company linking the proposition to higher mileage, improved uptime and greater control over truck operations.

Mahindra Truck and Bus offers light, intermediate and heavy commercial trucks and buses for cargo and passenger transportation. The business is a division of Mahindra & Mahindra.

The company said its commercial vehicle business focuses on fuel-efficient, technologically advanced and reliable transportation solutions.

SML Mahindra to Acquire Mahindra Truck and Bus

Meanwhile, SML Mahindra is set to acquire Mahindra Truck and Bus from Mahindra & Mahindra on a slump sale basis. The transaction is expected to be completed during financial year 2027, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

Mahindra Truck and Bus said the BLAZO i-TRK launch marks the beginning of a new phase of intelligent trucking in the heavy commercial vehicle industry.
