FADA Academy and IIM Udaipur Complete AI Leadership Programme for Auto Retail

FADA Academy, the education division of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations, partnered with the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur to deliver an executive programme on artificial intelligence and business excellence for automotive retail leaders.

The residential programme, conducted from 22-24 January 2026 at IIM Udaipur's campus, trained dealer principals and senior dealership executives representing brands including Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Mahindra, Honda, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, MG Motor, SML Isuzu, Hyundai, Volkswagen, BMW, and Hero MotoCorp from 12 states.

The curriculum addressed AI implementation in sales performance, customer experience, workshop efficiency, and dealership profitability through faculty-led sessions, case studies, simulations, and collaborative learning exercises.

Manish Raj Singhania, Chairman of FADA's Academy & Research division, stated the programme addresses current industry needs. "Artificial Intelligence is no longer a future concept—it is a present-day leadership imperative," Singhania said. The collaboration aims to provide dealer leadership teams with tools for managing AI-driven operational changes.

Prof. Debanjan Mitra, Programme Director at IIM Udaipur, highlighted the institution's focus on industry-relevant executive education. "The program offers data- and AI-driven insights for automobile dealers across key business functions within the Indian context," Mitra said, noting coverage from operational tasks to strategic planning.

The partnership between FADA Academy and IIM Udaipur positions the programme as combining academic frameworks with automotive retail industry requirements. The campus setting provided participants access to academic resources and peer networking opportunities.

FADA Academy structured the programme with limited enrollment to maintain focused interaction among participants from different geographic markets and brand affiliations across India's automotive retail sector.
